DESCRIPTION:Baseball WA is pleased to announce the launch of the 2026 Goldfields Baseball League\, with the season set to start in February. \nThis is a fantastic opportunity for juniors to take part in a Saturday Under 15 Machine Pitch competition\, based at Ray Finlayson Playing Fields in the Kalgoorlie suburb of West Lamington. \nKey Dates: \n\nDecember 2025 – registration opens\nSaturday 31 January 2026 – free come and try session (6pm U15 Machine Pitch\, 8pm U17 baseball)\nSunday 1 February 2026 – registration day\nSaturday 7 February 2026 – first U15 game 6pm\n\nMachine Pitch uses a diamond with baselines of 70 feet in length\, making it a great option for both new and returning players. \nMark Pierson\, BWA Regional Servicing Officer – Goldfields-Esperance\, looks forward to bring the league to life. \n“With support from the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder\, baseball has found a new home at the Ray Finlayson Field of Dreams\,” Pierson said. “We encourage families with prospective U15 players to sign up and come enjoy a fantastic sport\, and ideally\, we hope to have enough interest to launch an U17 competition as well.” \nPlease click HERE to register or email Mark Pierson with any questions: rsoge@baseballwa.asn.au

SUMMARY:Eastern Diamond Sports Carnival: Tee-Ball and Machine Pitch 70
DESCRIPTION:Baseball WA is pleased to open registration for Tee-Ball and Machine Pitch 70 at the 2025 Eastern Diamond Sports Carnival\, which will be held at the Oasis Playing Fields (Kalgoorlie-Boulder) from 27-29 September. \nTee-ball starts with no pitching and hitting the ball off a tee of adjustable height\, and then MP70 offers an exciting opportunity for players who have aged out of tee-ball to continue their baseball journey with a moving ball experience. This initiative aims to enhance participation across the region\, ensuring that young athletes have an accessible pathway to skill development and competitive play. \nIn addition to the Tee-Ball and MP70 events\, Baseball WA will host a “Coach the Coaches” workshop\, welcoming tee-ball and baseball coaches from across the region. This session is designed to equip coaches with new strategies\, techniques\, and insights to better support player growth. \nRegistration Details: \n\nPlayers will register as individuals and be placed into teams for the event.\nTowns interested in forming their own teams are welcome to do so—simply reach out to the organizing team.\nOpen to any player who has not turned 15 years old at the start of the event.\nTee-ball Register HERE – Machine Pitch Register HERE\n\nAll players receive a free\, event tee-shirt – Tee-ballers will also receive a free fielding glove and squishy ball. \nThank you to Goldfields Tee-Ball Association and the Tee-Ball Association of WA for making this event possible. \nFor further information contact Regional Servicing Officer (Goldfields-Esperance Region) Mark Pierson – rsoge@baseballwa.asn.au
